Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Heads of Supply Chain & Distribution to lead our end-to-end supply chain, warehouse and distribution operations across our Selangor (Balakong) and Johor Distribution Centres.
The role is responsible for ensuring efficient distribution centre operations, inventory availability and accuracy, timely outlet deliveries, cost efficiency and continuous improvement to support the Company’s growing retail network.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the overall operations and performance of the Selangor (Balakong) and Johor Distribution Centres.
- Develop and implement supply chain and distribution strategies to support business growth and retail expansion.
- Ensure efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch and returns.
- Drive improvements in inventory accuracy, stock availability, stock control and inventory loss reduction.
- Strengthen demand planning, replenishment and stock allocation to ensure product availability at outlets.
- Oversee transportation, delivery performance, route planning and logistics costs.
- Manage the performance of transporters and third-party logistics providers.
- Drive effective utilisation and continuous improvement of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor operational costs, manpower productivity and overall supply chain performance.
- Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives across all Distribution Centres.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and operational requirements.
- Lead, coach and develop DC Managers and the Supply Chain & Distribution team.
- Work closely with Operations, Commercial, Purchasing, Finance, HR, IT and Compliance teams.
- Provide regular updates to Senior Management on operational performance, risks and improvement plans.
